Emilio Mendoza, 19
The Washoe County coroner has identified the woman killed in a car crash in Sparks early Saturday morning.
The crash happened just before 4 a.m. at the intersection of Sparks Boulevard and Disc Drive.
Two cars were involved – and the woman that died at the scene has been identified as 28-year-old Rachel Briggs from Rocklin, California.
Sparks Police arrested the other driver, 19-year-old Emilio Mendoza after he tried to run away from the crash.
Bystanders that saw the crash actually chased after him and pinned him down until police got there.
Police say he had been under the influence when the crash happened and he is now facing multiple charges.
