LA SALLE COUNTY, TX . (KGNS) -An adult and a teen are dead, and another teen is in critical condition following an accident on I-35 Tuesday afternoon.
The accident happened at around 4:30 p.m. on the northbound lane of I-35 and mile marker 41 near La Salle County.
According to DPS a commercial truck tractor collided with a Ford pickup truck which resulted in the truck rolling over several times.
DPS has closed the northbound lane of I-35 at mile marker 39 and traffic is being diverted to travel through the access road of I-35.
Drivers are being advised to expect delays.
The commercial truck driver has not reported any injuries at this time.

Two people are confirmed dead, and a teen is critically injured following an accident on I-35, La Salle County authorities say.
The accident was reported on Tuesday at around 4:30 p.m. on the northbound lane of I-35 and mile marker 41 near La Salle County.
Authorities are advising drivers on the northbound lane to expect delays as crews clean up the wreckage.
According to the La Salle County Sheriff’s Office, the Texas Department of Public Safety is taking over the investigation.
