HORSE CAVE, Ky. (WBKO) – We’re learning more about the multi-vehicle accident that happened on I-65 between Munfordville and Horse Cave Thursday night that left one person dead and multiple people injured.
According to Kentucky State Police, two commercial tractor-trailers were traveling northbound on I-65 parallel, when the two made contact in a “side swipe motion.”
Travis Williams, 49, of Sheridan, IN, was operating one of the commercial vehicles, accelerated in front of the other tractor-trailer, and stopped in the travel portion of the roadway. The action caused both vehicles to stop in the right lane of travel.
