The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office asked drivers to avoid an area along Highway 123 Thursday morning after a crash.
The sheriff’s office tweeted: “An accident has been reported on Highway 123 near Union Station Drive, which is near Seneca. Use caution if you are traveling in this area due to the accident and public safety workers on the scene. Or, find another route if your travel plans take you in this area.”
The South Carolina Highway Patrol reports the single vehicle crash happened about 9:30 a.m.
A woman was driving an SUV heading west when she went off the right side of the road, hit a guardrail and overturned.
She was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, troopers said.
No one else was in the vehicle.
The crash was cleared by noon.
