VAN ZANDT, Wash. – Three people, including two teens, were injured in a crash in rural Whatcom County.
The Washington State Patro says the car with the teens was heading south on Highway 9 in Van Zandt on Monday afternoon, May 1st.
The driver, an 18-year-old girl from Acme, drove too fast into a curve near Williams Lake Road and crossed the center line.
Her car hit a northbound vehicle head on.
The driver of the second car, a 71-year-old woman from Deming, was transported to Harborview Medical Center.
The teen driver and her 18-year-old passenger, also from Deming, were both taken to Peacehealth St. Joseph Medical Center.
Their conditions are unknown at this time.
