A road has been closed off due to a major crash with the public urged to avoid the area.
Emergency crews have raced to McCallum Avenue in Rutherglen, near Glasgow, following reports of a crash at around 2pm this afternoon.
Local reports suggest that police and the ambulance have been at the scene following a motorbike collision.
The road is closed between Main Street and Reid Street. Main Street is also closed between Caledonia Avenue and Hardie Avenue.
It's currently unknown whether anyone has been injured. Bus services in the area are being diverted.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "McCallum Avenue in Rutherglen is closed between Main Street and Reid Street. Main Street is also closed between Caledonia Avenue and Hardie Avenue.
"This is due to a crash that happened around 2pm on Sunday, October 15. The public are asked to avoid the area."
