Emergency services are currently at the scene of the incident in Lightwood
Firefighters are currently at the scene of a crash on a busy Stoke-on-Trent road. And motorists are being urged to 'avoid the area' as emergency services deal with the collision on Lightwood Road in Lightwood.
Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service say three crews are currently on the scene near to the traffic island at Belgrave Road. Drivers are being warned nearby roads in the area are busy as a result of the crash.
Meanwhile traffic monitoring system Inrix is reporting slow traffic in both directions due to the collision.
A Tweet from Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service states: "We currently have three crews in attendance at an RTC on Lightwood Road, Lightwood, Stoke-on-Trent, near the traffic island at Belgrave Road.
"As such, the roads are very busy. Please avoid the area."

Officers at the scene so there have been no serious injuries.

Our reporter at the scene says paramedics, along with police and firefighters, were all called to the incident.
Police say they were called to reports of a two-vehicle crash at the junction of Lightwood Road and Upper Belgrave Road at 11.20am.
No details of any injuries have yet been released.
Traffic has been diverted from Lightwood Road at its junction with Upper Belgrave Road – where the collision has taken place.
Only a small section of Lightwood Road has been blocked off.
Police have been redirecting traffic away from the scene of the collision at the roundabout.
