New Hampshire woman dies in I-93 crash – WCAX

LINCOLN, N.H. (WCAX) – A New Hampshire woman has died after a crash just outside the Franconia Notch State Park in Lincoln Saturday just before 7 p.m.
New Hampshire State Police say Kadeen Johnson, 30, of Carroll, was a passenger in an SUV with five other people that hit a stone wall on Interstate 93. Witnesses told troopers the vehicle swerved to avoid an animal and due to the wet road conditions, the vehicle overturned and hit the wall, ejecting Johnson and trapping her under the SUV.
Police say the driver of a second vehicle saw the crash and attempted to back their truck into the overturned SUV to lift it off Johnson.
Johnson died of her injuries. Police say the driver of the SUV and four children received only minor injuries.
Police are still investigating. Anyone who saw the crash is asked to call New Hampshire State Police at 603-223-3750.
