Multiple pedestrians injured after 2-car crash in Phoenix – 12news.com KPNX

PHOENIX — Several pedestrians were hit after two vehicles crashed Wednesday afternoon in Phoenix, the city’s fire department said.
Firefighters arrived on the scene around 1 p.m. near Tatum and Shea boulevards where they found two cars involved in a crash, one of which struck three pedestrians. Officials added one person did require extrication from underneath one of the vehicles.
The three pedestrians and the driver of one of the cars were transported to the hospital. 
Authorities said Tatum Boulevard will be closed from Shea Boulevard to Desert Cove Avenue for an “unknown amount of time.”
Phoenix police is now investigating the scene.
Firefighters are on the scene of a two vehicle accident involving multiple pedestrians. Please avoid the area.
