MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A Memphis Police officer minorly injured in a two-car accident on Union Ave. near Cooper St. late Tuesday night after a driver failed to yield, MPD said.
Memphis Police Department said officers responded to the crash at 9:49 p.m. on Tuesday, May 24.
The officer was transported to Regional One Hospital with non-critical injures.
The driver of the other vehicle received a citation for failure to yield, MPD said.
On May 23, 2023, at approximately 9:49 p.m., officers responded to a two-vehicle crash on Union near Cooper, involving an MPD officer. The officer was taken to ROH non-critical. There were no other injuries. The driver of the other vehicle was cited for Failure to Yield. pic.twitter.com/EcL6PDqC8F
