Mother going to son’s baseball game killed in Milton car accident – Mid Hudson News Website

MILTON – A 36-year-old Beacon woman, who was stopped on Route 9W northbound in Milton as she waited to turn into a parking lot to watch her 8-year-old son’s baseball game, was killed when another car rammed into the rear of her car at about 5:40 p.m. on Tuesday, Marlborough Town Police said.
While they did not release her name, a GoFundMe account identified her as Kaylyn Touhey.
Preliminary police investigation determined a car driven by a 42-year-old Hopewell Junction woman collided into the rear of the Touhey vehicle forcing her car into the opposite lanes of traffic where it was struck by a tow truck traveling southbound on Route 9W.
Touhey was transported to MidHudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie by Ambulanz where she succumbed to her injuries.
The accident is under investigation and anyone with information is asked to contact Marlborough Town Police at 845-795-2181.
