Two people have died after a car crash in northeast Fresno on Friday night.
FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) — We now know the identities of the couple killed in a northeast Fresno car crash Friday night.
It happened just after 9:30 pm on Friant Road near Champlain Drive.
Police say when they arrived on scene, they found a single vehicle in pieces. and two people.
50-year-old cardiologist Alfred Valles, and his wife, 46-year-old Selina Valles, died at the scene.
Officers are investigating the cause of the crash.
Alfred worked at Saint Agnes Medical Center.
"Dr. Valles was beloved by so many in this community," said John Evanko, MD, Chief Medical Officer in a statement. "He was regarded by nurses and colleagues as a kind, compassionate and exceptionally intelligent physician."
