Kents Hill Road closed after serious crash as police attend | Echo – Southend Echo

Emergency services are at the scene of a serious crash in a major Benfleet road this afternoon.
Police have confirmed Kents Hill Road has been shut both ways at the junctions of Albion Road and Bowers Road due to a serious crash.
Motorists and residents are being urged to avoid the area while emergency services are in attendance.

A spokesman for Essex Police in Castle Point shared on social media: “We are at a serious road traffic collision at Kents Hill Road, Benfleet.
“Please avoid the area whilst emergency services attend.
“Closures are in place at the junctions of Albion Road and Bowers Road. Thank you. Inc 0678 refers.”
There are delays in the major road with AA and Google Maps showing slow traffic between London Road and Oakfield Road.
