A two-car accident with injuries was reported on Hwy. 63 Feb. 9.
The St. Croix County sheriff’s office reported around 3:40 p.m., Timothy Greeley, Maiden Rock, was waiting to make a left turn into Lindus Construction when his 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer was struck from behind by a Dodge Neon driven by Randall Dague, Baldwin.
Dague told law enforcement he was southbound on Hwy. 63 when he saw the gap between his vehicle and Greeley’s vehicle close quickly. He attempted to swerve to the right before striking Greeley’s vehicle. Dague said he didn’t remember if Greeley’s turn light was on. Greeley said it was.
Greeley along with passenger Joann Greeley were treated by Baldwin Area EMS and had minor injuries according the accident report.
Dague had what was described as serious lower body injuries and transported to Regions Hospital.
