VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — Both directions of North Great Neck Road have reopened near Cox High School Saturday night following a crash that sent one person to a hospital, the Virginia Beach Police Department confirmed.
The single vehicle crash initially closed both directions of the roadway, but officials said around 10:15 p.m. the southbound lanes had since reopened. By 11 p.m., all lanes were open,
The driver is in the hospital with critical injuries, police said.
