Florida Highway Patrol troopers are investigating a fatal single crash on I-4 in Kissimmee that killed two people Sunday afternoon.
According to FHP, the crash happened around 2:30 p.m. Sunday when a 2018 BMW M5 lost control and ran off the I-4 Westbound lanes into the grass and then hit a light pole to the right of the exit ramp to US-192. Troopers believe the right rear of the car impacted the light pole before coming to a rest and catching fire.
The driver and passenger of the M5 were both pronounced dead at the scene.
The outside westbound lane of I-4 at exit 64 and that exit to US-192 have been reopened as of 7:53 p.m. Sunday.
