1 dead, 2 injured in I-376 crash
One person died and two were flown to the hospital after a crash on Interstate 376 in Beaver County Friday night, emergency dispatchers confirmed.

The two-vehicle crash in the eastbound lanes between Exit 45 (Aliquippa) and Exit 42 (Center Township) was reported at about 9 p.m.
In a release, Pennsylvania State Police said a car driven by a man traveling the wrong way on the Beaver Valley Expressway hit two other cars.
State police identified the person who died as Lorie Thomas, 60. She died at the scene.
Police said Thomas was a passenger in one of the vehicles that had been hit. The driver of that vehicle was flown to the hospital, as was the male driver of the car traveling in the wrong direction.
I-376 was closed in the area of the crash while state police investigated at the scene.
Police said the car driving the wrong direction had an open container of alcohol in the driver’s side door.
