SAN ANTONIO – A motorcyclist died in a collision on San Antonio's Northwest Side Thursday afternoon.
According to The San Antonio Police Department, the accident happened around 12:40 p.m. off UTSA Boulevard.
Police share that the motorcyclist was headed southbound down UTSA Boulevard when a red SUV pulled out of a parking lot.
Authorities share that the woman in the SUV didn't see the motorcycle and hit the rider knocking him from the bike.
Officials share that the 24-year-old man died at the scene.
The woman in the SUV was not injured and was cooperating with the police.
The incident is being investigated by Traffic Investigations Detail causing the road to be closed for several hours.
There is no information regarding the victim's identity at this time.
