CLEVELAND, Ohio — A car accident left an unspecified number of Cleveland Public Power customers without power in a section of the East Side of the city on Sunday afternoon.
A tweet from CPP announced that it was investigating outages from East 149th Street and Aspinwall Avenue to East 152nd Street, as well as around Velour Avenue, In a second tweet, it added that the outage was caused by a car that crashed into two poles on St. Clair Avenue.
CPP crews were dispatched to the location of the accident to replace the poles.
It is not clear when the accident occurred and if there were any injuries.
