The northbound lanes of I-35 between Steele County Road 9 and West Central Avenue were closed for several hours. Traffic cameras showed a significant traffic backup following the crash.
This is the same stretch of highway where a 63-year-old woman from Aitkin was killed in a crash just a little over a week ago, when her car collided with another car in the northbound lane.
