WESTPORT, CT — A two-vehicle crash Friday night let to three people being injured, local fire officials said.
At 6 p.m. Friday, the Westport Fire Department responded to Interstate 95 northbound between exits 17 and 18 for a motor vehicle accident.
First arriving fire companies reported a two-car accident with both vehicles off the highway and down an embankment, officials said.
One car rolled over and came to rest on its side. Firefighters removed the occupants from the cars and brought them up the embankment. Westport EMS transported 3 patients to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries, officials said.
